About This Grant:
Through this Maine Cancer Foundation grant, IMPACT Melanoma will join forces with Maine Bureau of Parks and Land to identify sites to provide educational programs and sunscreen dispensers in strategic locations, as we continue to engage the public with targeted sun safety awareness and skin cancer prevention.
IMPACT’s Practice Safe Skin sunscreen dispenser program and Safe Skin at Work program will strategically-place dispensers at highly trafficked public recreation areas as well as outdoor work sites. IMPACT will also provide sun safety education to Maine residents and outdoor workers with sun protection messaging and prevention measures.
