About This Grant:
IMPACT Melanoma is excited to continue its work while expanding to additional State Park locations with Maine Bureau of Parks and Land. IMPACT will provide free sunscreen dispensers and public service awareness campaigns for park visitors and provide Safe Skin at Work sun protection education to State Park workers. Our work will expand to high-risk outdoor workers to include agriculturalists, municipal and private organizations providing sun protection education and tools to reduce skin cancer in high-risk populations. IMPACT Melanoma is poised to advance its progress in reducing skin cancer rates across the country with our continued growth with the MCF along with Comprehensive Cancer Coalitions in Pennsylvania, Vermont and Wyoming.
