About This Grant:
With this project, Northern Light A.R. Gould Hospital (ARG) will provide dedicated support to cancer patients, matching transportation resources to each patient’s location, health, and needs. A no-wrong-door approach will ensure all cancer patients in Aroostook County have access to transportation for diagnostic, treatment, and follow-up oncology appointments. Support may include taxi service, assistance with fuel, coordination of ARG’s patient transport van and staff for those with physical limitations, and lodging when needed.
