About This Grant:
The Pharmacist-Engaged Pilot to Increase Access to Tobacco Cessation Resources will expand access to and awareness of tobacco cessation supports across Waldo and Knox County, Maine. This initiative includes training pharmacy teams to conduct brief tobacco cessation interventions, improving access to nicotine replacement therapy (NRT) at local pharmacies and community events, increasing referrals to Maine QuitLink services, and raising community awareness about evidence-based tobacco cessation strategies through targeted marketing, outreach, and education efforts.
