About This Grant:
Through this three-year grant, PBMC will develop and implement a new comprehensive Cancer Patient Navigator Program to expedite the time between an abnormal finding and treatment, thus improving patient health outcomes and reducing cancer mortalities. Grant funds will help support the salary and training of one full-time Cancer Patient Navigator to work collaboratively with patients, families and providers across PBMC, MaineHealth (MH) and beyond to ensure timely care for newly-diagnosed patients.
