About This Grant:
This project will pilot the It’s Worth the Try curriculum, an LGBTQ+ Youth Quit Tobacco Support Group that was initially developed under a previous MCF grant. This 6-8 week curriculum integrates elements from two evidence-based tobacco treatment programs, N-O-T (Not on Tobacco) Program by the American Lung Association, a youth program, and the Last Drag, an LGBT Young Adult program. An advisory council will provide expertise and guidance for the project, with an impact and process evaluation conducted throughout the pilot.
