About This Grant:
This project proposes to engage young people as leaders to fight against commercial tobacco use. By providing regular scheduled activities, this project is designed to steadily enhance the resilience of Indigenous youth by providing a safe space to develop and strengthen life skills while also arming them with the knowledge to make healthy choices. Youth will engage with elders to share stories and strengthen bonds within their community by learning about both sacred and commercial tobacco.
