About This Grant:
This project will support Sebasticook Valley Hospital’s targeted tobacco prevention and education strategies for middle and high school students in the communities it serves, where lung cancer incidence and mortality rates are disproportionately high compared to state rates.
The initiative will provide young people with the information, tools, and resources needed to avoid tobacco and tobacco-related product use, support tobacco-free lifestyles, and contribute to long-term cancer prevention in the region.
