About This Grant:
Maine Public Health Association (MPHA) is working to address cancer prevention across the state by strengthening community connections and increasing their advocacy capacity through coalition building and advancing legislation that will improve social and environmental determinants of health, and primary prevention risk factors for cancer. These include tobacco use, poor nutrition, sedentary lifestyle and contaminated drinking water.
