About This Grant:
The vision of Hospice Volunteers of Waldo County is that no one in Waldo County need die nor grieve alone. We provide non-medical support to those facing the end of life as good neighbors would. We are known in the community as a strong resource for assistance and guidance when cancer seems to be winning the battle. Our mission is to provide free, confidential, non-medical support and assistance to those at the end of life, their families, the bereaved and related education within the community. For those facing a life threatening diagnosis of cancer, we are present whether or not they are still actively seeking treatment. Our commitment is to provide comprehensive services meeting human need when life is threatened by disease.
