About This Grant:
With this project, The Boston House will provide no-cost housing for families from Maine whose children are receiving cancer treatment at Boston Children’s Hospital or Dana-Farber Cancer Institute. Many families face extended stays far from home and carry the financial and emotional burden of their child’s illness. This project will offer a safe, comfortable, and supportive home away from home, including free onsite parking and shuttle service to the hospitals during one of the most challenging times in their lives.
