About This Grant:
Greater Portland Health proposes Expanding Access to Cancer Screenings for Underserved Mainers: A Community-Based Approach to improve cancer outcomes in Maine by increasing breast, cervical, and colorectal cancer screening rates. A community health worker will promote cancer screenings and expand accessibility by providing patient-centered outreach, education, transportation assistance, and connection to care. The target population will be patients who are not up to date on eligible breast, cervical, and/or colorectal cancer screenings.
