About This Grant:
The Pleasant Point Health Center will support cancer patients with transportation to their cancer care. We will provide one $50.00 gas card per trip from Pleasant Point to Brewer for cancer care. The round trip mileage to Brewer Cancer Care is 260 miles. This will allow us to support 100 trips for cancer care for patients.
The Pleasant Point Health Center serves the Passamaquoddy tribal members, which includes 980 people located on the Pleasant Point Reservation and in its vicinity.
