About This Grant:
Lake Region Senior Services provides transportation support for cancer patients throughout Androscoggin, York, Oxford, and Cumberland counties. Through the use of volunteer drivers, LRSS ensures Mainers are able to access the care they need, regardless of income or geography. All funds go directly towards reimbursement for volunteer drivers using their personal vehicles to help Mainers needing screening tests, biopsies, diagnoses or treatment programs, including trips to Dana Farber Facility in Boston.
