About This Grant:
Kennebec Valley Community Action Program is a non-profit community action program which has been providing services to the people of Kennebec and Somerset counties for more than 55 years. We offer a variety of services geared towards helping our clients achieve economic and social self-sufficiency.
This grant funding will provide eligible passengers with transportation to cancer treatment and support services using multiple transportation options as appropriate to the individual. These options include transportation using accessible paratransit vehicles, volunteer driver services, local taxis and a mileage reimbursement program for people with friend or family resources.
