About This Grant:
This grant will help establish a Women's Health Navigator role in Piscataquis County to support timely mammography screenings at the newly created mobile mammography unit operated by Northern Light CA Dean or the stationary unit at Northern Light Mayo Hospital. This newly created position will identify women in the local service area in need of screening, contact them, educate them on the importance of mammograms and coordinate with the appropriate mammography team to schedule screenings.
