About This Grant:
The Dean Snell Cancer Foundation strives to address multiple and pressing transportation needs to ensure cancer patients at New England Cancer Specialists in Topsham can continue their treatment. Gas cards, for both regular and emergency needs, along with an emergency taxi voucher program, help patients attend doctor’s appointments and treatments consistently. Assistance with travel expenses, including hotel and meal costs for out-of-state hospitals, allows patients to access consultations and additional treatment. Support for car repairs, insurance, and car payments is crucial when the ability to work is affected, helping patients manage everyday living expenses during treatment.
