Mi'kmaq Screen to Save

This proposal aims to improve access to life-saving cancer screenings by addressing common barriers such as lack of insurance coverage, limitations of PRC (Purchased/Referred Care) eligibility, and limited availability of screening locations. The initiative will focus on expanding outreach, coordinating with local and regional providers, and offering flexible screening options to ensure more individuals can receive timely preventive care. By reducing structural and logistical barriers while enhancing patient navigation, this project seeks to increase early detection rates, improve health outcomes, and reduce cancer-related disparities in the community.
