About This Grant:
This project will allow Avec Community Action (ACA) to provide financial assistance to individuals undergoing cancer treatment, offering support of up to $300 per household to help meet essential needs. This funding will enable ACA to work closely with cancer patients to assess their unique circumstances and ensure they receive appropriate, targeted assistance. In addition to direct financial support, ACA will connect households with other available community resources to enhance overall support. Eligible expenses may include utility bills, heating oil, and gas cards for transportation to treatment and related services.
