Alleviating the Barrier of Transportation for Maine Residents Pilot Program

About This Grant:

Funding for the Alleviating the Barrier of Transportation for Maine Residents Pilot Program will provide direct financial assistance grants to Maine-based patients, caregivers, and their family members to cover transportation-related expenses, including car payments, repairs (in some instances) and car insurance payments, in order that they can maintain reliable, consistent, and safe transportation to receive care. This support will help to remove debilitating financial barriers and provide patients, their caregivers, and family members access to the transportation that they can depend on to receive the cancer care they need in order to achieve positive health outcomes.
