About This Grant:
Accessing Cancer Care provides access to transportation for cancer treatment and support for individuals in Penobscot and Piscataquis counties. Transportation is addressed in several ways (utilizing volunteer drivers, taxis, agency vehicles, and friend/family reimbursement) in order to meet individual needs and provide services as efficiently and cost-effectively as possible. Residents of Penobscot and Piscataquis counties will have the option of mileage reimbursement or a ride.
