Last night, we gathered at SMCC to celebrate the many outstanding sponsors, volunteers and top fundraising participants in the 2018 Tri for a Cure. It was a lovely evening filled with inspiration and excitement for this weekend's events. So far, this year's top fundraiser is Margaret Benoit who is doing the Tri in memory of her mother, Holly Benoit, who passed away earlier this year. Holly was a 10 year Tri participant, a breast cancer survivor, and an inspiration to all who knew her.
This weekend we stand with families like the Benoits whose lives have been drastically impacted by cancer, knowing that every dollar raised is going back to Maine communities as we are determined to have a cancer-free state that we all deserve.
