Rides for a Cure

Downeast Community Partners (DCP) will provide access to transportation and lodging assistance to cancer patients living in Washington and Hancock counties, enabling them to more easily access treatment.  Additionally, DCP will provide outreach on available services to community groups throughout the region. This outreach will not only bring awareness of the Transportation Services provided by DCP, but also of related services in the area, such as the Maine CDC’s Breast and Cervical Health screening program, the Beth C. Wright Cancer Center, the Cancer Support Center of Maine, and many other small, local non-profits.
