About This Grant:
ITNPortland provides rides for people over 65 within 15 miles of downtown Portland, using a combination of volunteer and paid drivers. Rides are available for any purpose, with approximately 45% of rides being utilized for medical appointments. Through this grant, ITNPortland will create a free ride program for any individuals going to cancer treatment, prevention, or screening appointments within their services area. All of their drivers are trained to provide door-through-door, and arm-through-arm assistance, and all rides are delivered in passenger vehicles.
