About This Grant:
Leukemia & Lymphoma Society (LLS) will re-establish a state-specific fund for travel and lodging for Maine Blood Cancer Patients. The fund will distribute $500 grants in the form of debit cards, which will be offered on a first come-first served basis to patients who meet need criteria. LLS will work with its in-state network of clinicians and support volunteers, as well as its own Information Resource Center to make patients aware of the program and to facilitate their application for funds. LLS will follow up with these patients to help them qualify for additional financial relief through its co-pay assistance program.
