Bereavement Services

Through this program, Down East Hospice's purpose is to provide support for persons facing death so that they may live the remaining days of their lives as fully as their illness will allow. A support system of volunteers of Down East Hospice will be available to patients, families, and others touched by the terminal illness. Down East Hospice aspires to provide bereavement support to families and others touched by the death of a loved one. Down East Hospice, recognizing that it needs public support for its services, intends to promote the hospice concept through various public awareness and educational means.
