Patient Transportation Assistance Program

About This Grant:

The Patient Transportation Program meets multiple and pressing transportation needs for many patients dealing with cancer treatments and helps to ensure ongoing and uninterrupted treatment for cancer patients at NECS in Brunswick.  Gas cards and emergency taxi vouchers enable patients to get to doctor’s appointments and treatment, as well as out of state consultations and specialized treatments.  DSCF also assists with auto insurance, car repairs and car payments when the inability to continue working makes it difficult for patients to manage unexpected and everyday living expenses.
