About This Grant:
This project by the The Patrick Dempsey Center for Cancer Hope & Healing will address the overall tobacco use rate and target areas where the tobacco use rate is increasing, such as with non-cigarette tobacco products among youth. We are addressing stagnant cancer rates through tobacco cessation and prevention, as 30% of cancers are attributable to tobacco use. This project will also seek to add new energy and increase resources where funding has been cut to address tobacco use at the community level.
