On a beautiful summer evening on the southern coast of Maine, 548 participants and 40 teams ran or walked in Maine Cancer Foundation's annual Twilight 5k on Thursday, June 8th! Together you raised $135,725 for cancer prevention, screenings, and access to care in our state and we can't thank you enough. Our tremendous team of volunteers kept folks inspired, safe, and hydrated throughout the evening, Tickle kept the post-race crowd dancing, and local pizza and beer vendors fed the athletes after the race. Cheers to each one of you who made the evening come alive -- we cannot challenge cancer in Maine without you.
