Ronald J . Carroll, M.D. Lecture Fund at Maine Medical Center

Upon Dr. Carroll's retirement from a thirty-year career of caring for cancer patients, his colleagues chose to honor him with an endowed lecture fund. The lecture fund will bring an eminent oncology speaker to Portland each year for education of medical staff. In recognition of Dr. Carroll's long and extraordinary commitment to advancing the fight against cancer, the Maine Cancer Foundation gave a one-time gift of $10,000.00 to endow the fund at MMC.
