Online CME Course

The Jackson Laboratory (JAX) is a nonprofit genetics research institution founded to study the generic basis of preventing, treating and curing disease, with a particular emphasis on cancer. This grant funding will be used to create an hour-long online CME course used to educate Maine physicians and healthcare professionals on the importance of an individual’s genome and environment to cancer prevention, risk, diagnosis, treatment and outcome. JAX will provide this education online in a self-produced course titled The Impact of Genomic Medicine on Cancer Patient Care.
