iPad Share Program
MaineHealth is aiming to make 10 iPads available for use by cancer patients, survivors and caregivers while they have IV therapies at the Maine Medical Center Cancer Institute and during their recovery phase. The iPads will be preloaded with education and support materials and resources selected by a Community Health Educator from MaineHealth. The iPads will also provide stress relief during lengthy infusion treatment sessions by allowing patients and caregivers to watch movies, participate in social networking, or listen to their favorite music.
