About This Grant:
Mount Desert Island Hospital will establish a Patient Navigator Program to improve workflow for cancer screenings and treatments; develop education and engagement for patients and Hospital staff; help address the financial, social, and emotional aspects of cancer care for our patients, giving them a dedicated guide throughout the treatment process; and bridge Integrated Care Team efforts with clinical interactions for our cancer patients.
