Emotional Support for Men with Terminal Prostate Cancer

There comes in the point in the development of prostate cancer for some men when they can no longer seek treatments or solutions with much confidence, when they struggle to come to terms with their own mortality. This problem is especially evident with prostate cancer, as many times patients in the terminal stages of this disease are not willing to seek out help. This grant will fund prostate cancer support groups around Maine that empower, train, and support men diagnosed with prostate cancer to do a better job at managing emotions that surround this disease.
