About This Grant:
The Dean Snell Cancer Foundation strives to meet multiple and pressing transportation needs to ensure ongoing treatment for cancer patients at New England Cancer Specialists. Gas cards and emergency taxi vouchers enable patient to get to doctor's appointments and treatment and assistance with travel and hotel expenses to out of state hospitals provides the opportunity for often crucial consultations and additional treatment. Assistance with car repairs, car insurance and payments is important when the inability to continue working makes it difficult for patients and their families to manage unexpected and everyday living expenses.
